Dragør

A little piece of Denmark

We have named our glasses after cities and attractions in Denmark to emphasize the beauty of the country we love.

Dragør is a little gem in Øresund, which offers nature, history and culture. The old town offers narrow streets and low houses from the 18th and 19th centuries and is one of the cities in Denmark that is best preserved. Quite characteristic of a Dragør house is a black tarred plinth, whitewashed exterior walls and finished with white facade decoration. It has a red roof with a whitewashed roof ridge and barred windows. The old town exudes cosiness and a small piece of Danish history.

Like the old town, Dragør's old harbor is also a well-preserved piece of Danish history, which has remained largely unchanged since 1850. Today you can experience the old houses at the harbor as well as explore museums or take a trip to a restaurant located side by side in the old part.

Dragør Fort is also worth a visit if you are nearby. The fort was built on an artificial island south of Dragør, as part of Copenhagen's Sea Fortress. The fort was used as a shooting school during the Second World, but today it functions as a hotel and restaurant.
