Humlebæk

For many, Humlebæk is synonymous with the art museum Louisiana, the cultural heart of the city. But the small coastal town in North Zealand has much more to offer, with lovely beaches, beautiful nature and delicious food

Founded by Knud W. Jensen, the Louisiana Art Museum opened in 1958. The Danish businessman and art enthusiast wanted to spread modern art to the Danes, and today Louisiana stands as Denmark's leading museum for modern art from both Denmark and abroad. In addition to the museum's impressive collections and indoor exhibitions, you can also experience the Sculpture Park, which with 50 sculptural works merges with the beautiful view over Øresund.

In Humlebæk town centre, you can enjoy dinner at the cosy restaurant Sletten, where the chef duo behind the Michelin-starred restaurant in Copenhagen Formel B serves food of sublime quality;

Around the cosy town centre, you can explore the beautiful nature, forests and recreational nature areas to tie a perfect bow on a day in the small fishing village.
